How to Protect Your Skin This Summer
12 June 2017
Summer may not officially have arrived yet, but here in South Florida, we are feeling the heat. Last year we covered How to Stay Cool During the Summer and this year we wanted to give you some tips to protect your skin this summer.
Your skin is the largest organ in your body - crazy, we know - and needs to be taken care of and protected just like your other major organs. Living here in Florida, we've learned a thing or two about protecting your skin in the summer and all year long and we're sharing our tried and true tips with you today.
If you've never worn our UPF 50+ fabric you are missing out. It's cool to the touch and wicks any sweat away as it happens. It protects you from the sun which is perfect for summers days spent outside. It's an easy option to protect your skin. We've got plenty of fun prints and styles of dresses for you to choose from too! It also has just the right amount of stretch and is great for packing too - no wrinkles! It's pretty much magic fabric.
So important! Lather up your face, neck, and shoulders every day with at least 30 SPF. Yes, a sunkissed glow is nice, but be careful to not get too much sun.
There are so many different styles of hats out there today that it should be easy to find one that suits you. Wearing a hat shades your face and upper body and protects you from the sun's harsh rays. While any hat will help, the wider the brim the better.
We bet you didn't think of this one. The skin around your eyes is super sensitive. Protect it and stay looking young and vibrant by wearing sunglasses with UV400 or 100% UV Protection.
