If You've Got It. Haunt It.

Oh hey, Halloween. We see you and we want you to know that we are upping our costume game this year. No more will we take second place in the Best Costume Contest or show up in the same costume as our next-door neighbor. This year things are going to be different. If you feel the same way about wanting to improve your Halloween 2016 costume game, we have some ghoulishly good ideas for our best witches. If you dare, read on.
Group Costume: Pretty Little Liars. It’s your last chance to be a part of the scariest girl squad as Hanna, Aria, Spencer, and Emily will be putting up one last effort to finish off A come spring 2017. You and your three besties can totally rule outside of Rosewood scoring best group costume of the night. Remember to practice your shrieks before the night begins. A isn't dead yet!
Most Original: Pool Float Costume: Last summer, it was the summer of the pool floats. You’ll recall all the massive blow-up unicorns, toucans, flamingos, and so on. Now, Studio DIY has one creative costume idea. The idea is so creative that it almost guarantees you getting the first prize in this year’s Halloween contest. What is the idea? Three words: Pool Float Costume. Kelly walks you through the steps to creating your very own pool float inspired costume. It’s going be so, so, so cute!
The Classic: Holly Golightly. Sometimes, simple and classic is the most strategic way to dress on All Hollow’s Eve. Breakfast at Tiffany’s main character, Holly Golightly is the chic chick to dress up as on any Halloween. Some pearls, shades, and an LBD will make you a first place nominee. Plus, imagine all the Instagram likes!
Disney Magic: Everyone loves Disney and thankfully there are a number of Disney characters to pick from when costume shopping. What about going as Alice and the White Rabbit from Alice & Wonderland? It’s both timely and a classic costume concept. A real winner in our book too.
Pets are People: If you’re not feeling the costume vibes this Halloween it is okay. Really! You can still win a prize by dressing your pup up this year. One of Amazon’s current top selling costumes is a Star Wars Ewok dog costume for $20. Who says you can’t put a price on a prize?
Super Model: Witches better have our candy as it’s time to channel your inner supermodel for Halloween 2016. Let the sidewalk be your catwalk as you go as Gigi Hadid or Kendall Jenner. No worries, it’s super easy to mimic their looks. Find some sleek shades, tight high waist jeans, a cool concert tee, and add a moto jacket for a finishing touch. Voila! You are supermodel ready, but don't forget to bring the attitude.
Do you feel a little better about creating the ultimate Halloween costume this year? You don’t have to splurge to be the best. Be creative. Think outside of the box and share your costumes on Instagram with us @allforcolor. Happy Halloween! Celebrate colorfully.
