Things to do in San Francisco
06 August 2015
Having recently returned from an amazing trip to California we thought we’d share a few snaps along with things to do in one of our favorite Cali cities, San Francisco.
Things to do in San Francisco:
A Midday Boat Tour: Being that the SF weather is pleasant most days, a midday boat ride to the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz is the perfect way to spend an hour. Grab some food and drinks to-go and head to Fisherman’s Wharf to catch a ride on a charter boat. If you’re pressed for time it’s the perfect way to see both sites and at $15 a pop it’s easy on the wallet as well.
Take a Stroll: One of our favorite ways to get to know a city is to take a stroll through the different neighborhoods. Make a stop on Lombard Street to watch the cars gingerly make their way down the winding road. After that explore the rest of Nob Hill, North Beach, and the Financial District. Be sure to make a stop at Aquatic Park for some excellent people watching.
Eat It Up: Like most cities San Francisco has a huge food and restaurant scene. Take your pick of Chinese in the largest Chinatown outside of Asia, get your Italian fix in North Beach, visit any one of the countless restaurants on Polk Street, or head to Nick’s Crispy Tacos on Broadway for the best tacos in town.
Don’t Miss Out: Cable cars are one of the biggest attractions in San Francisco so be sure to make time to take a ride. With two launch spots you’re certain to catch it at least once.
